As the Senior Energy Services and Education Specialist, Uli has experience gathering energy analytics, conducting energy modelling for buildings, and implementing on-the-ground energy saving measures. Her knowledge of demand side management plays an integral role in mitigating energy costs and reducing greenhouse gas emissions for many private-sector businesses and First Nation communities. She is often found on-site conducting energy assessments and seeking out cost saving opportunities for clients.
Uli graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Energy Systems Technology from Cambrian College and completed the Foundations Program for Carpentry at North Island College. She holds certifications in Single Blower Door Operation, Residential Heat Loss and Heat Gain Calculations, and Residential Radian Hydronics Design and is a registered as a Passive House consultant and Wood Energy Technology Transfer SITE Basic Inspector.
Prior to Community Power, Uli worked for the Cambrian Native Students’ Association in Ontario where she was responsible for public relations and creating awareness of First Nations interests within the college. She also worked with the Cambrian College to conduct applied research on renewable energy, and for Mount Seymour Resorts as a Marketing Assistant.
