With a specialty in energy systems and sustainability, M.K. is a skilled energy and infrastructure project manager with 10 years’ multidisciplinary experience in engineering, project delivery, and construction oversight of complex projects. At Community Power, M.K. is responsible for overseeing technical aspects and ensuring the technical integrity of projects and programs; identifying and diagnosing energy efficiency opportunities; and, continually reviewing and implementing best practices wherever possible.
M.K. holds a Master of Engineering Leaders in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering (Business Administration Minor) from the University of Windsor. He is also a Project Management Professional and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
Prior to joining Community Power, M.K. was a Clean Energy Project Researcher with the Clean Energy Research Centre at the University of British Columbia, and a Mechanical Systems and Project Engineer and Nuclear Plant Design Engineer with Bechtel in Canada.
