Ehsan is the Energy Services Specialist at Community Power. With more than five years of experiences in modelling and optimization of energy systems, he is interested in finding the most cost-efficient ways for reducing energy consumption in first nation and indigenous communities. Ehsan is also passionate about assessing the potential of renewable energy in supplying the energy demand of first nation and indigenous communities.
Ehsan graduated with a phD in Chemical Engineering from University of Waterloo. His research focused on multi-stakeholder analysis of GHG emission reduction policies and the role of energy storage in emission reduction. Ehsan is a LEED Green Associate and holds a Certificate of Completion in Business and Entrepreneurship from Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business.
Prior to joining Community Power, Ehsan has experiences in renewable energy systems modeling. Ehsan developed optimization models in GAMS and MATLAB for energy system analysis and is well versed in using commercial softwares such as HOMER and RETScreen.
