Wuikinuxv Nation is a small community located at Rivers Inlet south of Bella Bella in the Central Coast of British Columbia. Since 2015, Community Power has been working alongside Wuikinuxv Nation in support of the community's self-sufficiency goals. As part of a wider initiative, community homes retrofits were completed including insulation, windows, air sealing, moisture barriers and ventilation. These upgrades dramatically reduced energy consumption in the homes and community members say homes are more healthy, safe and comfortable.
