Da’naxda’xw First Nation is a small community on remote Harbledown Island in Central Coast of British Columbia. In 2016, Community Power collaborated with Da’naxda’xw First Nation on a range of energy management projects. As part of a wider initiative, the community had energy monitoring systems installed in all 7 homes to collect data and address emerging and long-standing issues with their energy systems. In addition to this, Community Power worked with Da’naxda’xw First Nation to identify energy saving opportunities for the community and provided costed recommendations for next steps.
